Home CPU Scheduling Disk Scheduling Page Replacement Deadlock

ABOUT US

OS Virtual Labs is developed in order to give students a complete hands on experience of all algorithms in each of the four main units of Operating Systems viz, CPU Scheduling, Disk Scheduling, Page Replacement and Deadlocks. Here you can study and learn different algorithms used to implement the aforementioned fundamental processes along with their detailed definitions and theory.

This project is made and developed by the student groups, pursuing BTech in Computer Engineering from Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar under the guidance of Professor Chintan Patel, CS Department.

Vasu Gondaliya along with his teammates, Shreya Patel and Jay Hemnani from 2018 BTech Computer Engineering batch has worked on the CPU Scheduling algorithms implementation part this GUI, while Sachin Gupta and his teammates Prit Savaliya, Kevin Panchal, Rishabh Teli and Shivang Chamaria of 2019 BTech Computer Engineering batch took the previously done work ahead by implementing the Disk Scheduling algorithms in the GUI along with the styling & animation part to eventually come up with this final GUI for Operating System Virtual Labs having two of the main four components of Operating Systems.
